On December 26, 2004, The Mighty tsunami that hurtled into Southeast Asia, including the southern beaches of Thailand. This was the worst of natural disasters the world has known. Hundreds of thousands were killed. It also affected the life of millions of people. Exact number of people died will never be known. In Thailand Hundred of tourists and Thousands of Thais died. Throughout Southeast Asiaand beyond that the total loss of life was in the hundreds of thousands.
Regardless of this, Thais are remarkably friendly and resilient people. They retained their dignity and desire to live and help others. They rebuilt and returned to a normal life.

To me, Luxury means lots of large, white towels in the washroom. It also means an loads of sweet-smelling lotions and soaps that are replenished daily by hotel staff. I relish not having not having to handle my luggage once I’ve lifted it from an airport belt. In Thailand you will enjoy being whisked away in a limousine car from the airport and You will not be kept waiting on a tour bus while someone argues about the scratches that have appeared on her brightly colored suitcases.
At most Thai hotels you will be greeted with genuine smiles. The necessary check-in formalities are conducted over a welcoming drink, while your luggage seems to find its own way to the room. These niceties, which seem to come automatically in Thailand whether you spend $50 a night or $500.
Thailand is a very foreign country with its own peculiar ways and culture. Respecting the different customs and lifestyle will make your stay here more enjoyable.
