The first question is wrong if the race only has two people in it (since the other person would be the “second” person). The author of this test seems to have failed his English course.

I got the mary one right, but the rest I just failed.
The one where you had to ad really got me confused. How the heck could I have gotten that one wrong? Im thinking maybe I was confusing the 10’s place with the hundred’s place.
Either way I’m frustrated. I still liked it though.

I got it all right, except the second question, which I don’t think I actually got wrong. If it’s a race around a track, then if you overtake the last person you can be in any position except last place.
I’m always entertained by posts like this. It really underlines how many bloggers think that reposting things that other people wrote (and have posted dozens of times) and then making fun of the reader somehow makes them witty and readable. Blogs are already nothing more then comedy fodder and I’m getting tired of Stumbling them rather then pages written by people with original intelligence.

Yeah, so the first question refers to the “second person,” not the “person in second place.” It’s actually grammatically incorrect to refer to the person in second place as such – so really the quiz gets the question wrong. Or I guess that would be the author of the quiz…?
