Optical Illusions On the Move

On my way to office I see many billboards. While I ignore most of them, some do get my attention. below are some of them. these optical illusion displays on trucks are a sure head turner. You are forced to have a look. Due to advances in printing technology, colours on these billboards are so realistic that It takes a while to realize that these are 2D pictures not 3D objects.

By far, these are some of the best examples of printable optical illusions. The one below gives illusion that a giant bottle is being carried away.

Again, these are not Pepsi crates defying gravity.. It’s quite hard to believe that these crates are printed. illusion is quite strongly printed. the use of light and shades is very realistic and gives depth the billboard.

Every single one of these images was photoshopped. Not a single image here is of actual printed vehicle graphics. For one thing, even if they were real, the illusion would only work from exactly this viewpoint behind the truck. All the images here are the SAME PHOTO with different images pasted into the sides. While its definitely “Worth 1000″, they’re not real.
