Amazing Earthquake Photos Taken at a Wedding in Pengzhou, Sichuan, China

These extra-ordinary photos were posted to a  yahoo group claiming that they have been taken when an earthquake hit a wedding ceremony. Location of these photos is reported to be as Sichuan , China. These photos tell a great survivor story. Really, It is a miracle that people in church escaped all the destruction.

Normally bride and groom have an album full of joy and festivity but this bride and groom
now have re-collection of horrific reminders of how lucky they are to be alive.

As these  photos were being taken the earthquake continues to destroy Church of the Annunciation, a 100-year-old building in Sichuan (This church is quite popular spot for wedding and the church was built by some French outside the city of Pengzhou) .

This Earthquake measured 7.9 on the Richter scale and the death toll from it now stands at 65000 not including the 20 thousand people who went missing after that.

The party was over: In their wedding dresses, the couple emerged from the rubble at the church where they were posing for some great photographs

The ceremony must have been ruined. I feel sorry for the couple.

Great photos. Have you seen some of the damage from the recent earthquake in Haiti? I feel so bad for those people. It won’t be long and the United States will see a 7.0 earthquake or higher. It’s difficult to be prepared for such sudden and swift devastation.
