As the season of holidays arrives, all the folks choose their holiday destinations. People normally choose the most famous holiday spots around but here we have a list of some of the most unique destinations for your next vacation. Lets have a look.
Antarctica
The first unusual spot on our list is the Antarctica. But we suggest you to watch this Great White Continent only if you are a true lover of nature and cold. This is continent lies on the South Pole. Species like penguins and albatrosses are found here in abundance. Many explorers have been coming here and discovered a lot about the sea life and the facts related to the geography of the area. Scot Shackleton and Amundsen are the greatest explorers of Antarctica. Whales, seals, squid and fish are among the sea life here. 
The Amazon
The Amazon is one of the world’s oldest and beautiful rainforest located on the banks of river Amazon. The area is famous for its richness in the species of turtles, as big as 60 kg and also very tiny ones.
This beautiful life form is highly endangered by the interference of the outer world. They are hunted down only to get their eggs,meat,oil and shell. Turtles chose beachside for nesting but alas that mostly their eggs are swift away in the floods resulting from hydroelectric dams and river navigation projects. But its a really interesting place to spend your holidays in the lap of the nature. But I would not suggest you swimming there because there are many dangerous creatures under water.
Siberia
Situated on the North Pole, our next spot is Siberia. It’s the city of reindeers’ and you might be lucky enough to meet our very own Santa Claus. There are many things that you may enjoy there like visiting the Polar museum in St.Petersburg,herds of reindeers in the village of Khatanga,tour to the Taymour Nature Reserve,you can also enjoy the barbecue in the beautiful surroundings of Kottuy river valley.
Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea,though a comparatively backward and undiscovered place but is really popular for its richness in arts and crafts exhibition. We do not advise a woman to go there on her own because the area has a lot of violence and crime associated to it. But If you are a shopaholic and an art lover then it’s a place for you. There are many local markets displaying traditional carvings and bead work,traditional baskets,paintings,beautifully woven serving trays and all this is available on really affordable prices. Besides you can also enjoy various festivals,diving,surfing,hiking, fishing and see amazing unique flora and fauna.
Tibet, China
Tibet is a popular destination of China. Tourism is getting more and more common there because of the commendable efforts of the communist government. This is a very picturesque place to watch. The area is also popular for its Tibetan Buddhism.
Mongolia
Mongolia is a beautiful valley with the beautiful inhabitants of nomadic tribes. According to a research country’s 2.8 million people are nomadic or semi-nomadic. Gobi Desert is to the South of it. If you come for vacations here,a horse ride on the paths would be a delight. Gobi Desert can be visited on the camel carts. Its a natural place unspoiled by the outer world. The only activity in that area is the movements of nomadic herders. It’s a great outdoor to visit.
Tangiers, Morocco
Our next destination is the very popular city of Morocco, Tangiers. This city became a part of Morocco after Second world war. There have been great writers and many famous poets like William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Tennessee Williams, and Paul Bowles. The city has the ultimate poetic beauty. Tangiers is a multicultural Mecca. Situated very close to Gibraltar, the city is also well known for its international spying activities. A railway track connects the city to Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech in the south and Fès and Oujda in the east.
South Korea
South Korea,though not a real place for tourists but there are some things that attracts a lot of people from around the world. The place is famous for its good food. Korean barbecue is above all. There is a portion between north and south Korea that is a no-man land. No one lives there. There are the tunnels of historical magnificence, built by the North Koreans. The area is also called The Demilitarized Zone. You can see this area with binoculars.
Transylvania, Romania
Our next unusual spot is the city of vampires,the beautiful historic region of central-western Romania,that is Transylvania. It’s a multicultural state. There are many types of cultures existing in the city. The must-see things of that area are the Avram Iancu Square with the Orthodox Cathedral,the National Theatre, the Romanian Opera and the Avram Iancu Statue; the botanical garden; and the symmetrical Maniu Street. Malta
Malta is the nation of art and craft. So if you are a big fan of fine arts then go there. Whole year many cultural events take place there.
