An official countdown clock is especially designed and infixed in Trafalgar Square in London City on March 14, 2011. This clock stopped working on Tuesday 15 March, 2011 at “500 days 7 (hours) 06 (minutes) 56 (seconds)” right after few hours it was started. This malfunctioning of this countdown clock got noticed by officials. This malfunctioning of countdown clock was occurred due to some technical errors that were repaired quickly by the technicians.
Tickets Sale
On the very first of the inauguration of London 2012 Olympic, more than 6.6 million tickets were provided for sale different games. Workers continued their working at the Olympic Stadium. Interested sports lovers from all over the world can buy tickets six days in a week. They can apply for tickets by submitting applications and people who have got selected via ballot boxes will receive the tickets. In simpler words, ticket distribution is based on random selection that is done through ballot box. The price of ticket varies from one sport event to another. The cost of ticket ranges from £20 to £2,0012. The most expensive tickets are available for the opening ceremony. Tickets sale is done in two phases. The first phase was started on March 15, 2011 and ended on April 26, 2011. The second is of ticket sale is going to start in June and will end in July 2011.
