China is full of beautiful sites and natural beauty, its ancient culture and history adding to its charm. China offers tourists many sites worth seeing, may it be the Great Wall of China, its adorable Pandas, its rivers, its ancient temples, ancient palaces, mountains (Mt. Everest being one of them), lakes and the stone forest. China has one of the most ancient cultures of world and has many historical and cultural places spread across the country. According to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites, China has 40 sites, ranking third in the world of which 28 are cultural heritage sites, 7 are natural heritage sites and 4 are cultural and natural (mixed) sites.

Changbai Mountainns in Jilin
The Changbai Mountains of China has lakes, forest and endangered species of Siberian tigers and the rare species of Bear. The mountain is covered with Snow for the most part of the year, it is on the border of China and the North Korea. A great part of the Jilin Province is protected as Changbai nature reserve. The greatest attraction is undoubtedly the Heavenly Lake, which is the source of three rivers of China, a phenomenon that is particular of the Heavenly lake is that it will rain one moment and a sunshine in the next.
At times you can experience rain in one part and the sun shine in the other part.
Mount Chomolangma(Mt. Everest) in Tibet
It is the highest mountain of the world, it is in the border of Nepal and Tibet. It is a part of the Himalyan mountain range. It is known as Mount. Everest in the rest of the world after Sir George Everest, in Tibet it is known as Mount. Chomolangma in Tibet which means “Mother goddess of the mountains snow”, the mountain is considered to be sacred for the native people.

The Loess Plateau along the Yellow River
This plateau is along the Yellow River, the soil of this Plateau is known as most highly erodible soil on earth which is highly prone to erosion by wind and water. The Yellow river passes through the Loess Plateau. It attracts photographers, visitors and adventures from around the world.
Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province
It is the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia located in the Baihe River in the Guizhou Province. The scene of the waterfall changes while you are standing in different places, also you may be able to see the rainbow from here. Huangguoshu is the best known waterfall of some 18 waterfalls which forms the cluster.
Taklimakan Desert in Xinjiang
It is ranked in one of the world’s largest deserts, it is surrounded by the Kunlun Mountains to the South, and Pamir Mountains and Tian Shan to the west and north. Also known in shifting sand deserts, the desert vastly supports little to no vegetation. The day and night temperature may vary by 20 Centigrade and the winter summer temperature may differ by 30 Centigrade.
Namsto Lake in Tibet
Located in Tibet, the lake besides its scenery is also a famous sacred Buddhist place. The water of the lake is exceptionally clear, as the water in the lake for the most arises from rain, melted ice and snow of Nyenchen Tonghla Mountains.
Maolan Karst Virgin forest in Libo county, Guizhou Province
This is actually a conservation which contains abundant plant and animal resources, it also has the Xiangshuile waterfall, Mandarin Duck Lake and Karst cave group. The reserve is covered by a lush virgin forest, the forest is rich biological resource with more than 2000 species found in the reserve of which 40 includes new plant species.
Chengguan town in Danxian county, Hainan Province.
This town has an average of 131 days with thunderstorms, the thunderstorms are destructive but this place offers a resort for adventurists.
