The truth cannot be denied that airlines are earning most of their net profits by charging additional fees which people don’t really want to pay. Undeniably, few of the airlines won’t be able to survive without charging these fees. Even some of the airlines will be in danger by applying these new charges. Below are the new charges that airlines would like to incorporate in 2011.

Infant Fee

At present there are no charges for the small babies on U.S domestic flights, however, this facility will not continue in the future. In this regard Ryan air (offering flights to various destination of Europe) has already started to charge €20 for lap babies for one way.

This amount is equivalent to US$30. The U.S is thinking to prohibit the lap kids for security causes. Hence, parents need to purchase tickets for them and lay the in the seats with child self control system. Even the Govt. won’t pass this regulation; the airlines are expected to charge this fee.

In-Person Check-in

You may have been befitted by the airport booth for the purpose of signing up or getting your boarding card. You may have completed this process through internet at your home. It is quite simple and helpful for you. In fact these facilities also lessen the human resource cost for the airlines.
