Since time, various methods and materials have been put into action to bring about amazing architectural displays. Below is a top ten list of such buildings.
1. Dar Al Hajar, Yemen:

This building is now the greatest attraction to the tourists in yemen. The Dar Al Hajar is a palace that was built way back in the 1930s. The palace was built in the valley of Wadi Dhahr and is a remarkable sight to watch. The Al Hajar protrudes from a rock formation and was built by the ruler of that time, Yahya. This piece of beauty was originally made as a summer residence which has now become a great tourist attraction.
2. Manchester Civil Justice Centre, England:

This multi-court building has an 11,000 sq/m suspended glass wall which is the largest in Europe. The building was made by Denton Corker Marshall. Currently, talks about the same type of sister building near Birmingham are under consideration.
3. The Stone House, Portugal:

This is a house made of stone. The stone house is a privately owned building but many tourists who make it to the top of the hill are allowed to take pictures and marvel at the creation.
4. Beijing National Stadium, China:

Built by Jacques Herzog, this building was used in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China. Other than Jacques Herzog as the architect, the list also includes the likes of Pierre de Meuron, Stefan Marbach, Li Xinggang, and artist Ai Wei Wei. The building has a bird’s nest theme.
5. Kansas City Public Library:

This is a library that was made in 1873 and has a huge wall of books running down the 10th street. The building runs between the Wyandotte Street and Baltimore Avenue and has 22 book spines of various titles. Read the full story

The world is full of chocoholics. And while some of you may not be crazy about it, the majority would love to travel around the world tasting the best chocolates ever. There are a few places that are exquisite when it comes to chocolates.
1. Tain L’Hermitage (France):

The famous chocolate producers, Valrhona, are based in this small town. There is a school called Valrhona Ecole du Grand Chocolat. It teaches chocolatiers, caterers and professional chefs. The school also organizes a three-day course to teach decadent desserts to amateurs.
2. Cologne (Germany):

The Stollwerck Chocolate Company is based in this town. It was once the second largest chocolate supplier to the United States. A museum has been opened commemorating these chocolates called Imhoff Stollwreck Museum. It celebrates different chocolates from all over the world.
3. Hershey (Pennsylvania):

Hershey was named after the extreme popularity of Hershey’s Chocolates in 1906. It has also been dubbed as the sweetest place on earth. The Hershey Company and the H.B. Reese Candy Company both are based in this chocolate-loving town. There is a chocolate spa, Hershey’s Chocolate World and the Hershey Story Museum.
4. Villajoyosa (Spain):

Villajoyosa is also famously called the Chocolate City. The oldest gourmet chocolate producer of the country, Valor, is based in this city. There is also a great chocolate museum that tells the story of chocolate production in the town and also gives an idea about how the local chocolate is made.
5. San Francisco, California (USA):

San Francisco boasts to be one of the oldest chocolate manufacturers in the country. There are great chocolate tours with all the amazing chocolate shops. Read the full story
