Brief history
This place was the first ever heritage site of UNESCO. Canoe legend Bill Mason gave the name of “the greatest river trip in the world” to this place. In 2009 the park was massively expanded to more than 11,500 square miles of protected land. This size is almost same as the size off Switzerland. The park was improved and many other exciting things were introduced.
