1. Danxia Mountain

Located in Renhua County of the Guangdong Province is the Danxia Mountain. Danxia meaning red rays of the sun. With its tiers of red rock cliffs and high walls has been compared to a ruby sculpture park and is known as “China’s Red Stone Park”

2. Wuyi Mountain

Encircled by the beautiful 9.5 kilometer long Jiuqu (Nine Zigzag) Stream with 35 marvelous peaks and an average elevation of about 360 meters is the Wuyi Mountain area in the north of Fujian Province, which covers approximately 72 square kilometers.  The beautiful scenery of the Wuyi Mountain combined with the grace of Guilin and the grandeur of Mount Tai makes a scene to be awed about.

3. Dajin Lake

The Dajin Lake which covers an area of about 462 Kms, and of which 167 are Danxia topography. It has the china’s largest landforms on water, which going from the northeast to the southwest are Shangqing Stream, Jinhu Lake, Dragon King Cave and Eight Immortals Cliff.

4. Longhu Mountain

Longhu Mountain

One of the most evolved Danxia landform areas in China is situated in Yingtan, Jiangxi Province, Longhu Mountain, which has a Danxia area of about 81 square kilometers. Geologically, it is a Mesozoic fault basin, in which thick strata of purplish-red conglomerate, sandstone and volcanic rock were formed.
