Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region of France. It is located in the Rhine valley and it is South East of Paris and South West of Frankfurt. It is populated with approximately 650,000 people.It has important insitutions like the European Court of Human Rights, the European Ombudsman, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe.

Strasbourg is a distinguishing city as it has openness to new ideas and technologies, it is a free city and it is the closing point to the major trading routes.
