New immigration policy has been announced in UK. The bottom line of the new policy is that if your are a migrant worker in United Kingdom, You better be earning a minimum of £35,000 each year. If your don’t then we will not allow you to be settled in UK. No British Passport for you.

This policy however does not apply to migrant workers from EU member states. These New Immigration Rules will be effective from April 6th , 2012.

This new immigration policy is being appalled by almost everybody who is of sane mind. It is ridiculous and let me say that ministers have gone mad. The director of the designing agency said that the gist of the new test is ‘what makes an American citizen’. Before the Immigration Act of 1990 for doctors or physicians there was only to come to the US was to engage in graduate medical training for having J-1 status. Examinations

• Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX) Parts I and II, or an equivalent examination as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
• National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), Parts I, II, and III.
• The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), Steps 1, 2 and 3.
• There is also test to document competency in English and passage of the Test of English as a Foreign Language.

Exceptions

Most of above mentioned requirements for doctors are waived for internationally or nationally renowned doctors in their area of specialization and who have graduated from a foreign medical school. And the doctors who obtained the medical degree from US medical schools only have to show that they graduated from a US medical school and that they have also appropriate state license.
