The Konkan also called the Konkan Coast is a section of the western coastline of India started from raigar to Manglore. There are many of stunning beaches along the entire Konkan coastal region. Many of those beaches yet to be discovered by the travelers. We are giving you an orientation of some of the beaches along the Konkan coast.

Few of the many beautiful beaches situated on the Konkan coastal line are Alibag, Guhagar, Harihareshwar, Kihim, Ganpatipule:-

Alibag Beach

Located at a suitable distance from Mumbai as well as Pune, Alibag is the ideal place for those tourists who are looking for Virgin beaches and magnificent forts.

The beaches of Akshi and Nagaon

Situated on the way from Alibag to Revdanda about 8/9 KMs. From Alibag, gorgeous looking white sand beach with trees of surru surrounding the coast. The water is fresh and harmless for swimming.

Kashid Beach

Situated on the way to Murud, Kashid beach is another beautiful extended white sand and clear water beach. It is one of the best beaches of konkan.

Kihim Beach

At about 12 KMs, From Alibag, on the on the way to Mandwa. It is a favorite place of mumbaikars on weekends, as it is convenient to come to Kihim from Mumbai on Saturdays, for a day and than go back.
