1. Making a Packing List

2. Carry It On

Avoid over-packing
Know where you are traveling to and know the purpose of your travel. While packing it is important that you know what the purpose of your visit, if it is a casual summer vacation than you know you have to pack casuals like khakis, bikinis, summer dresses and flip flops etc. If it’s a business trip you know that formal wear will have to be packed with colors which are neutral and sober.
Know the climate of the country
Before planning your tour, plan according to the weather of that region. In certain places certain seasons are best to enjoy the vacations. For instance for winter vacation you would travel off to places which have the best snow resorts and snow sports. For summer vacations you would want to plan a place where there is more sun like the Middle East or Africa instead of flying out to Europe which maybe experiencing rainstorms. Also you will avoid places which have tropical rainforests since they too draw rainy seasons also. Pack according to the weather in that country.
