In a visit to Spain people should have a valid passport to enjoy the real culture of Spanish people. Americans can require a huge paperwork to travel in various other countries but traveling to Spain has some benefits to the American people. For example, Americans only need a valid passport and a return ticket. They don’t need any visa. They will only need a proper visa stamp if their stay in Spain exceeds 90 days.
Crossing Borders

If an American has a valid passport and is visiting Spain, he/she can also visit various cross border European countries like Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Portugal and Sweden. For this purpose, they would need a visa if their stay in these countries exceeds three months from the date of entry.
Cost and Communication Factors
When anyone is on a trip to any foreign country, he/she should be conscious of certain factors like currency, language and weather reports. For instance local currency in Spain is Euro and it would be expensive for an American because Euro is a stronger currency than American Dollar. So Americans should bear this in their minds while traveling to Spain. Also Spanish is spoken and understood throughout the country. Although English is spoken in tourist areas yet one should arrange a guide for proper communication during the trip. Travelers should know the weather reports and plan their journey accordingly.
