Sakhalin is the largest island of Russia. It is more than 900 kilometers long and is home to many abandoned light houses. This island is located in the middle of Okhotsk Sea and Sea of Japan. The Aniva light-house was built by the Japanese. They made this island in an attempt to expand their control over the island. In 1905 the Russians invaded and took back control of the entire area.
