The Sears Towers is the world’s fifth tallest building. They have been renamed the Willis Tower in 2003 after the previous name expired. These Towers are the tallest structure in Chicago surpassing the previous World Trade Center Towers and the Empire State building in Manhatten. These towers are one of the most popular attractions of the city and people are often very curious to visit them.

Sears Towers most significant portion open to public is the Sky Deck. It is located on the 103rd floor of the Towers. It was first opened to public on 22nd of June 1974 and is 1,353 feet (412 m) above ground level. It is primary tourist attractions in the City of Chicago where many people come and can easily view the entire City and its landscape. This observatory is accessible to common people via lift system. These lifts can take you to the top floor in less then sixty seconds.

What Makes It So Distinct

The Sky Deck is visited by more then 1 million people annually. These Balconies are made up of glass and they are not for people with height fears. These Balconies of glass can bear weight of 4.5 metric tones. These balconies are also famous for people attempting to climb upto them with bare hands and feet.
