Visitor Tax in Rome
From Jan 1, 2011 Rome has started to levy a fee as a Rome Visitor Tax that has to be deposited at hotel the time of leaving the hotel. This tax of €2-3 (US$3-4) is mandatory, else per night cost of a person is allied to type of lodging you choose.
Type of Trip
It must be independent with air ticket. It will cover the round trip with flights for the airports of JFK, LaGuardia or Newark to Rome. The flight returns from Venice to New York.
