If the answer is yes, then a career break may be just what you are looking for. A career break can be whatever you want it to be. You can challenge yourself with a hike to Machu Picchu in Peru, give something back and spend a few weeks working on a volunteer project in Kenya, experience the eclectic mix of cultures in Asia or embark on an ultimate safari adventure into the wilderness of Africa.

Career breaks are for people of all ages to take a break from their normal lives and do something different. You may be considering a career change, want to learn a new skill, give something meaningful back or simply want to step out of the rat race for a while.

If you are fit, having good gear, and properly planning,  you can make an adventurous travel.

When we see adventure travel pamphlets they look so much attractive with pictures of smiling travelers trekking in Nepal, hiking up in Greece, rafting the Amazon, or mountain cycling in Utah. But adventure travel covers an extensive scope of activity and skill levels. Not each trip is suitable for each tourist.

Unluckily, many adventure travel outfitters do not assess travelers deeply. They may book trips for people who do not have an endurance and good condition to actively take part in the activities. This may not be a trouble on an easy adventure tour where there’s a “sag wagon” for those who can not hike or bike all the way. In such trips each night travelers take a long rest at a hotel. It does not matter during a tour where groups can go in different directions concordant to different levels of effort.

10 Camping Tips For A Tent Camper

by mudassirSeptember 1, 2009 Really Interesting

Make fire in a safer area. Your open fires and cooking appliances should be at a distance from your tent. Now you are safe and prevented ignition from sparking flames and heat.

It is important to make sure your fires are always attended. Search for an area for a fire where you can be sure that fire will not spread laterally or vertically. A grill or stone surface is best for it.

Beware you are surrounded by wildlife. Always have a flashlight with you at night. Many animals came out at night for feeding. Flashlight will keep them away. By keeping your campsite clean you can avoid bears. Never leave food, garbage, coolers, cooking appliances or utensils out in the open.
