There are predictions for the year 2010 which revealed that enough people would travel in this year but of course not as in past. This is due to the prevailing recession in the world. Even then if you can easily meet the expenses, plenty of amusement is available across the world, from Shanghai to South Africa to Orlando. Mexico is taking the lead and is amongst the top 10 list despite of the worries regarding the swine flu. There are a lot of limelight for tourists including the headline-grabbing events, Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, the FIFA World Cup soccer games in South Africa, the Shanghai World Expo and many more.
Another destination that will get attention in 2010 is Oberammergau, Germany, where the oldest continually acted passion play in Europe has been performed by the locals roughly every 10 years since the 1600s. The show will be staged May through October and is typically seen by a half-million people.

Take a ride with us as we have a look at 5 of the lowest continental points on land. It really is amazing…
South America
At 5, check out Laguna del Carbón in the Santa Cruz Province of Argentina which stands at a cool -344 feet. The Laguna del Carbón is an endorheic (that’s right, look it up!)salt lake in the Great San Julián Depression , which at just over 340 ft below sea level is the lowest point of the South American continent which has even been home to the odd dinosaur fossils!
Africa
Number 4 then takes us to Lake Assal in Africa. The crater lake situated in central Djibouti and is currently at 509 feet below sea level. The Afar Depression itself which is home to the Lake, is the second lowest land depression in the world after the Dead Sea. Thanks to its size, it holds a water volume of 400million cubic meters, so the residential run off of fresh water in to the lake is probably a good thing?
