Places to Visit in 2009: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
If you love adventure travel and do not care much about travel warnings issued by US and other governments, Cambodia should be your next destination. Cambodia is situated in South East Asia, between Vietnam and Thailand. Phnom Penh is Cambodia’s capital in every sense of the word. The city is so rich in culture and tourist attractions that it can keep you busy for more than a week.
But if you have only a weekend to spare, we recommend that you should take a early flight to Phnom Penh in on Friday afternoon and enjoy Saturday and Sunday packaged tours of the city and then take a late night flight on Sunday night back to home. This way you will enjoy a great weekend tour of the city.
If you are have only one place to visit in Phnom Penh, It has to be the Royal Palace. It is a complex of buildings constructed a century ago for King of Cambodia. It was also a venue of his court and a symbol of his kingdom. The Royal Palace and attached ‘Silver Pagoda’ compound has several buildings, structures and gardens that are all located within 800 meter square walled grounds. The Compound also overlooks a riverfront park.
Travel Destinations: Champs Elysees, Paris, France
Champs Elysees is one of the most famous streets in Paris, France. It is home to some of the best cine-plex, restaurants and luxury hotels. If you happen to visit France, you should at least visit here one. you would not like to miss a chance to be on most expensive real estate in continental Europe. It is a shopper’s paradise.
The Champs Elysees has been included in top places to visit in Paris by many tourists and blogger’s. But due to recent economic slow down the business is quite slow in Paris. You don’t see so many people ordering red wine on these streets. still no one can argue that the view is great. Still travelers are including Champs Elysees in their plans.
Travel to Space: Expedition 18 Lifts Off!
This is a great view of Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft’s lift off. The ride is carrying Expedition 18 Commander Michael Fincke, Flight Engineer Yury V. Lonchakov and American space flight participant Richard Garriott to their workplace on a long commute.
The Photo was taken at the time of launch today, Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008. Surprisingly The Astronauts went on their long commute from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Giant’s Causeway in County Antrim, Ireland is a strange place… so majestic in looks so mysterious. I think this will remain on my desktop for next few days. It make me wonder who built this, Gaints? at least no humans. If humans built this, for what? for whom?…. well the foam or mist..whatever is in this picture makes it worth looking at. Brrrrrrrr I sends a chill down the spine… . This High Quality , high resolution wallpaper in 1600 x 1200 format really looks fabulous on my large LCD screen.
