How to Create Iphone Ringtone From Any Song on Your Computer…
After a bit of reading here and there and consulting a few friends and experimenting, I’ve figured out a way to create iphone ringtones out of any song saved on my computer.
Here is how to do it.
Step by Step Guide
- Add the song file to your iTunes library.
- Right click, select Get Info, then reach options tab.

- Select start time and stop time for the duration of the ringtone you’d like to use (no longer than 40 seconds though). For example, if you’d like to use the first 40 seconds of a song, make the start time 0:00 and the end time 0:40. If you want to use from 1:40-2:20 then do it like that, just make sure you use which ever part of the song you want to be your ringtone and just make sure it doesn’t exceed 40 seconds. After you’ve selected which part of the song will be your ringer, click OK.
A Short Course in Digital Photography: Free E-Book Download
If you own a digital camera, or are thinking of getting one, this book explains all you need to understand about your camera to capture much better and more interesting photographs-everything your camera manual doesn’t tell you. Whether you’re photographing for business or pleasure, complete, clear explanations show you how to use your camera in almost any photographic situation. What people like most about this book is the way it integrates concepts and procedures; the “whys” and “hows” of photography.
Concepts of photography are the underlying principles that apply regardless of the camera you are using. They include such things as how sharpness and exposure affect your images and the way they are perceived by viewers. Understanding concepts answers the “why” kinds of questions you might have about photography. ![]()
Procedures are those things specific to one kind of camera, and explain step-by-step how you set your camera’s controls to capture an image just the way you want to. Understanding procedures gives you the answers to the “how” kinds of questions you might have. Just a few of the things you’ll learn in this book are how to throw the background out of focus in portraits, how to keep everything in a landscape sharp, how to avoid or creatively use blur, how to photograph sunrises and sunsets; and how to take pictures at night with city lights, the moon, or fireworks.

[ad#ad-2]
With the advent of being able to easily hack ringtones onto your iPhone, there’s just one thing missing: an easy way to convert your songs into ringtones. As it turns out, Apple has done the dirty work for you with the 30 second previews which accompany every track on iTunes. Erica Sadun of TUAW has figured out a super easy way to nab those previews for use on your iPhone. Step by step instructions.

1. Create a new playlist. Drag unpurchased songs from the iTunes store into your playlist. The songs will retain their “Add Song” buttons and their price within the playlist.

Act confident, pushy and assertive, even if you’re not. Kihn hired an acting coach to help him lose his default ‘nice guy’ mannerisms. He learned to replace his smile with a thrust-out chin, a glare or a yawn.
